Arriving on Campus
Directions to Harrison College House - 3910 Irving Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
Travel West on Walnut Street to 39th Street. There are meters on both sides of the street and you may sign out a cart at the front desk of the building should you need to unload vehicle. Walk South on 39th Street and make a right on to Locust Walk (there will be a red sculpture on the right). Harrison College House will be on your left.
Vehicles can be parked in either Lot 30 (on the Corner of 38th and Walnut) or Lot 40 (on the corner of 40th and Walnut). Parking averages $25.00 per day.
Checking In
To check in and receive your keys and ID card go to the Information Center located in the lobby of Harrison College House.
- LONG TERM STAYS (2 weeks or more): Guest will receive a packet containing a data card, an envelope eith keys, and a PennCard. The guest needs to sign the data card in the “move-in signature” line and fill in the mother’s maiden name and 4-digit code (last four digits of the social security number).
- SHORT TERM STAYS (2 weeks or less): guest will receive a packet containing an envelope with keys and a temporary ID. Upon arrival they must sign a conference sign-in sheet to verify their occupancy at any point during their stay. The conference sign-in sheet will act as reference anytime the participant needs a lock-out key.
In order to access the residence hall you must swipe your ID card and enter the pin number given to you at check in. If at any time you should forget your pin see the desk attendant at the Information Center.
Checking Out
To check out return your keys and temporary ID (if you have one) to the front desk. You will be asked to sign the data card/conference sign in sheet you signed at check in. IMPORTANT: ALL KEYS MUST BE RETURNED AT MOVE-OUT. If a room key is not returned there will be a $160.00 charge for a core change.

From the Philadelphia International Airport
SEPTA Airport Express Train
The Airport Express Train leaves 9 minutes after every half hour, and will take you to either the University City Station on Convention Ave or to 30th Street Station. The ride takes 18 minutes to the University City Station. Fares and

Cars, Taxis and Limousines at the Airport
A metered taxicab costs about $25.00 and the ride takes about 20 minutes. Limousines leave every 20 minutes. The

Arriving by Amtrak of SEPTA trains @ 30th Street Station
All Amtrak Northeast Corridor trains and all SEPTA Regional trains stop at the 30th Street Station.

From the Northeast via the New Jersey Turnpike South
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to exit 4 for Route 73 North. Bear right out of the toll following signs to Philadelphia and Ben Franklin Bridge. After crossing the bridge take I-676 West, to I-76 East, the Schuylkill Expressway. START DETOUR: Follow I-76 East to 30th Street Station Exit. Turn Right at the end of the exit ramp onto Arch Street. Follow Arch Street around and merge right onto John F Kennedy Blvd. Merge Right onto Market Street. Turn Left onto 34th Street to enter campus.
From the Northeast Extension, Pennsylvania Turnpike
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension, South to the PA Turnpike, East-West Interchange. Remain on I-476 (The PA TP, northeast extension portion of I-476, terminates at the PA TP east-west interchange). Continue on I-476 south, approximately 3.6 miles to Exit 6, I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway). START DETOUR: Turn Right at the end of the exit ramp onto Arch Street. Follow Arch Street around and merge right onto John F Kennedy Blvd. Merge Right onto Market Street. Turn Left onto 34th Street to enter campus.
From the Northwest
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 24, Valley Forge Interchange. Take I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) approximately 17 miles. START DETOUR: Follow I-76 East to 30th Street Station Exit. Turn Right at the end of the exit ramp onto Arch Street. Follow Arch Street around and merge right onto John F Kennedy Blvd. Merge Right onto Market Street. Turn Left onto 34th Street to enter campus.
From the North
Take I-95 South to I-676 Westbound toward Center City. From I-676 exit in less than two miles taking "exit only" ramp towards the airport marked I-76 East. START DETOUR: Turn Right at the end of the exit ramp onto Arch Street. Follow Arch Street around and merge right onto John F Kennedy Blvd. Merge Right onto Market Street. Turn Left onto 34th Street to enter campus.
From the South
Take I-95 North to Exit 13 signed "291 West to I-76". Follow 291 West across (Platt) Bridge to 26th Street, which leads directly onto I-76 West. START DETOUR: Follow I-76 West to 30th Street Station Exit. Turn Left at the end of the exit ramp onto Market Street. Follow Market Street to 34th Street and turn left on 34th Street to enter campus.

The South Street Exit 346A (formerly exit 40) is currently CLOSED.
At various times, contruction activity may effect the availability of established traffic patterns.
